Interview Questions, Editing, Music, & Interview By Denise Cusack. ![]() HWB interviews Karen Henderson, organizer and founder of the Veterans Resiliency Holistic Clinic in Richmond, VA. Karen hosts a monthly clinic for veterans and their families, providing almost a dozen holistic health modalities. This clinic is a donation only clinic and no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Karens discusses how her own experiences as a veteran with PTSD drove her to create the VRHC, and how alternative modalities such as herbalism, zero balancing, craniosacral therapy, wellness coaching, NADA acupuncture, mindfulness meditation, yoga, reflexology, aromatherapy, and somatic experiencing form the basis of working with veterans who are experiencing the symptoms of PTSD.
