Herbal Action Webinar Series
We have been hard at work preparing to launch a new webinar and podcast series that targets the topics our members and Coordinators want. Each webinar will launch in the member portal with a full blog post that includes resources and more. We are also launching a few INTENSIVE webinars each year, with a deeper dive into community herbalism. Our webinar intensives are longer class-like series with materials, downloadables, workbooks, additional resources, video recordings, and more!
Our first intensive has launched! Herbal Preparedness: Community Assessment and Response for When Things Happen.
Herbal Preparedness:Learn how to assess your community-readiness for herbal community response after disasters. We all live in regions that experience some kind of natural disasters due to climate change, war, drought, fire, hurricanes, or humanitarian crises, and we need to be prepared. Use the HWB intensive workbook to go over everything presented in the webinar, assess and outline your needs - from strengths and weaknesses to personal goals - and form a plan so you are ready BEFORE the next natural disaster.
Intensives are broken down into the video presentation(s), downloadable workbook, links to the HWB member resources related to the topic, and a link to various resources, sample templates, and more. This is to create a whole modular intensive of materials and information so that you can use and implement in your own HWB work. Intensives are intensive classes with supporting documents and materials for use. What does an intensive contain?
Our first webinar in the new Herbal Action Webinar series is the Herbal Preparedness Intensive. This video intensive is a two-part series including bonus materials!
This Herbal Preparedness Intensive has a lot of material, including:
