At Herbalists Without Borders (HWB), we believe that knowledge is power, and one of the keys to our success has always been our dedicated and passionate Coordinators who work tirelessly to support their communities. Today, we are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our HWB Coordinator protocols that will help our Coordinators succeed and make an even more significant impact in their communities. 

What's the Coordinator Manual Course?

Our Coordinator Manual Course is a comprehensive training program designed as part of the onboarding process for all new HWB Chapter, Clinic, or Project Coordinators while keeping our existing coordinators up-to-date with all policy changes. The course is an integral part of our new compliance tracking system and is packed with valuable information to help you excel in your role.

What's Inside the Course?

We've worked hard to ensure the course covers everything you need to know to effectively lead an HWB Chapter, Clinic, or Project under our 501(c)(3) nonprofit umbrella. The new Coordinator Manual Course is in conjunction with the release of the 2nd edition of the Coordinator Manual, which has also undergone significant updates.

Key Highlights:

1. Thorough Onboarding: For our new coordinators, this course will be your first step in the journey. It will guide you through our organization's history, policies, and expectations. By the end of the course, you'll have a clear understanding of your role and responsibilities as an HWB Coordinator.

2. Updated Manual: The 2nd edition of the Coordinator Manual is the backbone of this course. It's been revamped and expanded to provide in-depth information about managing chapters, clinics, and projects. You'll find everything you need to know about our nonprofit's guidelines and requirements.

3. Compliance Tracking: We're committed to keeping our coordinators in the loop about policy changes. Our new compliance tracking system will ensure that you're always aware of updates and modifications that affect your role.

4. Helpful Forms and Files: With this course, you'll have access to various Coordinator forms and files, making your tasks and responsibilities easier to manage. You'll be able to download, print, and use these documents in your daily work.

How Does It Work?

The Coordinator Manual Course is designed to be user-friendly and self-paced. Once you've expressed your interest in becoming a Coordinator and received an invitation to join the course from us, you can get started right away. The course will take you through a series of lessons, quizzes, and resources to ensure you're well-prepared.

One of the key features is the 100% scoring requirement. To move forward in the application process and Coordinator Training, you must complete the course and score 100% on the final quiz. Don't worry; if you need more time or wish to review the content, you can retake the quiz!
