Dr. Allison Havemann, ND
Naturopathic. Homeopathic. Functional. Integrative. All of these words sound like fancy "buzz words" from Instagram and celebrity pages. Yet, I promise you that these terms for paths to wellness were around long before puppy ear filters on SnapChat and way, WAY before they became a #hashtag. These terms are our approach to reclaiming hope, by helping you reclaim your wellness through a functional, patient (that's you!) centered approach to health. Please take some time to click through this site, check us out on social media and, best yet, request an appointment for a FREE IN-HOME (within Monmouth and Ocean County) consultation (video appointments upon request for patients outside this travel area) with Dr. Havemann herself!
The time has come for you to RELAIM WELLNESS AND RECLAIM HOPE! That journey can start RIGHT NOW! We are here...waiting...and excited to meet you!

NORTHERN APPALACHIA SCHOOL of Vitalist Herbalism & Ecology
NORTHERN APPALACHIA SCHOOL of Vitalist Herbalism & Ecology
There is a spark inside all of us; a vitality that inspires us to make the world better for having been in it. We can make the choice to tend to that spark and kindle a flame; to contribute to the beauty and goodness of the world, or we can let it go out. Our mission at the Northern Appalachia School is to tend that fire inside others and help transform and return our local ecosystems and its inhabitants to a state of vitality.
What we strive to do is to help others reintegrate into rhythms of nature; to learn to listen again to the land and to our own bodies, connect to plants on a deep level and re-awaken the ancestral knowledge within us so that we can live as stewards of the land instead of contributing to its destruction.
The land is our teacher, our ancestor, and our home. It is calling us back.
We also offer herbal and nutrition consultations and a Community Clinic with services available by sliding scale donation through our clinic, Vital Earth Alchemy. Our apothecary is stocked with bioregional botanicals and spagyrics.
Our People’s Folk Medicine Project empowers and educates those in underserved communities on how to obtain food and medicine through wildcrafting.
