Kelly Bisciotti, N.D.
My passion is people. After struggling with my own health issues for many years, including infertility, weight gain, chronic headaches, and ongoing aches and pains, I desperately turned to natural wellness. It was during this healing journey that I felt called to take my background in biology and experience working in scientific research and return to school for herbalism and naturopathy. Now I want to pass on my knowledge and experience to help others discover the amazing benefits natural wellness can have in supporting the body's remarkable healing abilities through one-on-one counseling and customized wellness plans that take into account each person's individual preferences, nutritional needs, lifestyles, and goals.

Sweet Flag Herbs
For as long as humans have existed, we have been cultivating relationships with plants for food, medicine, fuel, clothing, shelter, and beauty. Plant medicines have traditionally been 'remedies of the people,' accessible in kitchens, gardens, and the local ecosystem. Sweet Flag community herbalist Sarah Sorci has found people-plant connections to be nourishing and empowering on many levels. She believes that intimacy with and reliance upon the local ecosystem is a necessary component of any environmentally sustainable culture. Sweet Flag Herbs seeks to facilitate rich relationships with wild and cultivated plants, as well as others in our community and ourselves.
In Sarah's classes, she discusses sustainable wild-harvesting and growing methods.

My love of herbs started more than a decade ago. Personal health problems led me to seek answers outside the sphere of Western medicine and nature provided me the answers. In the last ten years, I have sought to develop a relationship with each of the herbs I use and have repeatedly been awed by the massive power contained within a single plant.
