Without Borders Advertising & Calendar Listings
HWB is happy to announce we have launched a new quarterly magazine, Without Borders. This magazine was created to give more valuable content, news, recipes, updates, and features to our members and community. Our first issue is packed full of recipes, book reviews, plant monographs, webinars, feature articles, and more. With content for nonmembers and links to members-only exclusives, there is something for everyone.
As a small nonprofit with a limited budget, and programmatic and operational funding coming almost entirely from membership dues, we realize in order to continue to expand, grow our reach, support more people, and implement programs that work in communities globally, we need more revenue. We know that charitable donations are down since 2020 in the nonprofit world. One area we look to grow our funding is to open digital magazine ad space for members and nonmembers. For a minimum recommended donation, members and nonmembers will be able to have advertising space in our quarterly magazine. A percentage will be a marketing expense, and the rest qualifies as a charitable contribution per the IRS. So, you will be able to promote your business and products to a global audience while also supporting the mission, vision, and programs of HWB! Members will receive a discount as a bonus of membership. This will help us fund our work and projects, and a portion of your ad fee will qualify as a charitable contribution to the IRS. Paid Calendar ListingsHWB is including a calendar section of the magazine. Thisis where members can post FREE events at no charge. Members and nonmembers can post PAID events for a small donation/fee, with members receiving a discounted rate.
This minimum suggested donation for a 50-word calendar listing is $15 for non-members and $10 for members. Of that, $7 is a marketing expense per the IRS, and for members $3 qualifies as a tax deductible donation, and for nonmembers $8 qualifies as a tax deductible donation. This is based on a minimum suggested donation, and any amount over that you donate for your calendar listing qualifies as a tax deductible donation. Submission Guidelines: Text only 50 words or less Calendar Items: HWB Members are welcome to contribute events to our calendar. We will not post links to fundraisers for other nonprofit organizations or groups asking for donations to any gofundme or paypal that is not directly to HWB Global. To submit your event, please email editor@hwbglobal.org and include the event name, date, location, cost, URL, and 50 words or less description. Include your name and email as the contact info so that we can verify membership if you are submitting a free listing or the member discount rate (but we will not share that information unless it is a part of your listing). Members can list any FREE events. Member and non-Members can submit listing for paid events for a minimum suggested donation (and up). You will be emailed a link to make your donation when you submit your listing text. |
